This class is designed for seniors who have successfully completed 3 years of cabinet making classes and wish to further develop their skills as woodworkers. This course is designed to provide students with team work, critical thinking, and problem solving, and repairing / building to industry standards. A large emphasis will be placed on the manufacturing process. I expect all students to complete all safety course work with a minimum of 100% accuracy to be allowed to work in the shop. If students do not pass safety tests and quizzes the first time they will be allowed to review the safety material and retake the tests and quizzes.

I expect students to follow the Bonners Ferry High School attendance policy that is laid out in the student handbook. If a student misses classes they have the same number to days plus 2 the make up the assigned work.If students miss shop time I expect them to make up the number of dasy that they miss. They can schedule to make up that time with me before school, at lunch, or after school. I will be opening the shop up for lunch make ups on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Best in Class is an activity that students do at the end of every project. Students vote on the best project out of all the projects that have been turned in ON TIME. The winner gets their picture placed on the website as well as a Blue ribbon they can use as extra credit towards their final at the end of the term.
